Who I am and why I’m here.

In 1930’s, Dale Carnegie in his famous book, observed that ‘I’ was the most used word in telephone calls in America. I read this in high school and it had stuck with me ever since. A hundred years since he wrote it, this observation still rings true, more so in this Age of social media. This is the reason why I’ve kept my thoughts to myself. The world doesn’t need another person shouting into the void, “Hey! Look at me!”

But people change. A pandemic and the current state of Philippine politics reminded me that life is short and we will all die soon. So I’ve decided to write a public journal and to create a photography archive—if not to just keep me busy, to at least to keep me creative.

Expect me to write about things that matter to me—movies, books, comics, photography. But I will dabble now and then on life, why billboards should be banned forever, and why I think people should read Sapiens. Drop a comment if able to read and write.
